ACCUSATION OF ALIEN SMUGGLING WAS LIFTED AFTER MORE THAN 17 YEARS OF PAINFUL SEPARATION! When Ferdie applied for his U.S. immigrant visa, through his wife’s Racquel petition, the Embassy not only refused the visa, but also imposed a lifetime ban against him for alien (human) smuggling. Racquel went to an attorney, who charged them a hefty fee and advised them to sue the Embassy. After filing the lawsuit, the Court, immediately dismissed the case, since the Embassy cannot be sued over visa refusals. Ferdie and Racquel had nothing to show for their efforts except an expensive denial. They were about to lose hope until Racquel met a friend who was helped by Atty. Michael J. Gurfinkel. She followed her friend’s advice and consulted with the Law Offices of Michael Gurfinkel. Through extensive research, investigation, and determination, Atty. Gurfinkel was able to clear Ferdie’s name and convince the Embassy that he was not guilty of alien smuggling, enabling Ferdie to be reunited with his wife and daughter in America.
