23 Dec 2016 No Provisional Waiver Needed For This Jumpship
CREWMAN WHO JUMPED SHIP WAS ABLE TO GET HER GREEN CARD IN US
Mabz was a crewman who “jumped ship” to pursue work in the US as a caregiver. After consulting with two lawyers for her labor certification case, she was told her case was hopeless, since she was a jump ship, and only an “amnesty” could save her. She then went to “attorney-of-last-hope” MICHAEL J. GURFINKEL who was the only one who dug deeper into her situation and discovered a saving grace—a way to get a green card in the US, and without the need for provisional waiver.
