'FREE CONCERT' BY FILIPINO SINGING IDOLS SARAH GERONIMO AND MARK BAUTISTA
LOS ANGELES - Filipino singers Sarah Geronimo and Mark Bautista, along with award winning actors Carlo and Leandro Munoz, will join other popular Asian performers, MULAN, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, and other Disney characters, in the 4 th annual Lunar New Year Parade and Festival on Sunday, February 13, 2005 in Pasadena, California from 11am to 5pm.
Sarah and Mark will ride the colorful Philippine float, while actor-brothers Carlo and Leandro Munoz will ride in a convertible during the parade.
The parade starts at 11 am on Colorado Boulevard, from Pasadena to Raymond Avenue. The Festival and Free Concert will be held at CENTRAL PARK, 2 blocks south of Colorado Blvd. (South Fair Oaks and East Dayton St.)
Food booths will serve authentic Asian food, while vendor booths will offer products and services to the thousands who are expected to attend the day's festivities. A brand new Toyota car, Southwest Airlines round-trip tickets and other major prizes will be given away during the raffle.
Are you worried that Sarah and Mark will sing only one or two songs, and it will be just a waste of your trip? The Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel, Inc. which is co-sponsoring the parade and festival, has made sure that Sarah and Mark will sing an array of songs that will make your trip to Pasadena worth the time and distance traveled --- it will be worth your trip. This event is also sponsored by Southwest Airlines, Toyota, McDonalds, VERB, All State Insurance, ABS-CBN's The Filipino Channel (TFC), Seafood City and Asian Journal Publications.
Sarah and Mark (both ABS-CBN artists), hosts of ASAP and Search for the Star In A Million, will be at the TFC booth, to pose for pictures and sign the CDs that fans can buy from the TFC booth.
