EMERGENCY CASE

Leonisa Ramos and her son, Cimino, got their visas in record time, so they could be at the bedside of Leonisa's husband, Domingo, who was then fighting for his life at a hospital in Fresno. Domingo was stabbed in the neck during a fight in Delano. Atty. Gurfinkel helped Leonisa and her son obtain green cards in less than a month, instead of the usual eight months, enabling the wife and son to be with Domingo in this critical period. Domingo's brother, Modesto, drove all the way from Delano to Glendale to seek Atty. Gurfinkel's help. Modesto had sought the help of a lawyer in Bakersfield, but the attorney said he couldn't do anything about Leonisa's case, because it was "impossible."
