  Joanne
Mariano and her father Jesus were reunited after 16 years of separation
with the help of Atty. Michael J. Gurfinkel. Two other lawyers
already told Jesus that "it can't be done", because
of the very limited time before Joanne would turn 21, but Atty.
Gurfinkel helped Jesus expedite his naturalization, and helped
Joanne obtain a green card. Joanne arrived in the United States
four days before her 21st birthday.
