Miguel pays a visit to her "Attorney of Last Hope",
Michael J. Gurfinkel, shortly after her arrival in Los Angeles.
Her arrival in the U.S. marked yet another victory for the prominent
attorney, who successfully defended Miguel against alien smuggling
charges that could have resulted in a lifetime ban by the U.S.
Embassy. Miguel, a dentist by profession, personally expressed
her gratitude for bringing hope to her near hopeless situation.
