Married/Single Mother Saved by Child’s Medical Condition

Married/Single Mother Saved by Child’s Medical Condition on this Week’s CITIZEN PINOY!   Wendy (2nd from right) has been through turbulent times.  Almost three decades ago, she was petitioned by her immigrant father as “single.”  However, before receiving her green card, she married her then boyfriend.  She never disclosed her marriage, and immigrated to the U.S. as “single.”   When Wendy petitioned her husband years later, the husband was refused a visa because the Embassy discovered her “secret” marriage, thus putting her own “green card” at risk.  Since then, there hasn’t been a moment of peace for Wendy.   Wendy's dad got ill, and then her newborn daughter Gabrielle (2nd from left) - had   dysphagia – a serious medical condition requiring that Gabrielle be fed through a feeding tube.  Then Wendy received her deportation papers in June 2005, due to her “married/single” status.  The “turbulent storms of life” just kept lashing at her, and yet Wendy persisted.     Determined to stay, find out how Wendy’s adventure in fate and faith turned out, when hosts leading immigration attorney MICHAEL J. GURFINKEL (right) and broadcast personality GEL SANTOS-RELOS (left) bring you CITIZEN PINOY on Sunday, at 6:10 pm (PST), with a replay on Tuesday, at 11:20 pm (PST) on TFC.  CITIZEN PINOY also airs on ANC-US every Saturday at 4:00 pm with replays on Sunday at 8 am, all PST; and on ANC- Philippines every Sunday at 8 am with replays at 12 midnight on Mondays.
