NEW HOPE RISES FOR SOMEONE WHO WENT ASTRAY! Janneth (center) was only two years old when her mother Fe (right) left her to go abroad. Growing up without a mom made Janneth a rebellious teen. In 2003, Fe married U.S. citizen Larry (left) and petitioned Janneth herself, which could take several years. Fe became more hopeful after watching CITIZEN PINOY one Sunday afternoon where host Atty. Gurfinkel mentioned how it could be “easier and faster” for a citizen to petition a minor stepchild instead of a green-card natural parent. The couple immediately contacted the Law office of Michael J. Gurfinkel. Things then began to look sunny and bright for Fe and Janneth.
