Gurfinkel (right, standing) joins Wowowee hosts Willie Revillame (left, standing), Cheena and Janelle (seated, L-R) as they do the WOWOWEE Kapamilya sign right after their Embassy interview in Manila. The Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel obtained Wowowee's entertainer's visas so Willie and the rest of the Wowowee crew can entertain you in California, as they did in Hawaii. Don't miss this presentation during the Fiesta Filipina in San Francisco on June 10-11, 2006. Wowowee will be staged on Sunday, June 11.
REDWOOD CITY, Calif . --- This Sunday's episode of CITIZEN PINOY features a behind the scenes tour of the USCIS's District Office in San Francisco, California. District Offices are where interviews are conducted for green cards (adjustment of status) and Naturalization. The USCIS allowed our cameras inside their facilities, so our viewers can see, first hand, how interviews are conducted, what officers are looking for in the interviews, the types of questions asked, and comments from some of the interviewing officers themselves. Citizen Pinoy is grateful to the Department of Homeland Security for allowing our viewers this once in a lifetime opportunity to see, from the privacy of their living rooms, what goes on at a District Office.
CITIZEN PINOY hosts Atty. Guingona, Gel Santos-Relos and leading immigration Attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel visited "kapamilya" in sunny Hawaii for a series of episodes of your favorite immigration show. They also met with the Filipino-American community at the Philippine Consulate in Honolulu, Hawaii to answer their immigration concerns.
On "CP House Calls," Atty Guingona talks to a mother who has been in the US for 15 years now, with her disabled son, who was studying. Now that his student status is coming to an end, what happens to him?.
On "Michael Matters," Atty. Gurfinkel discusses some immigration trivia, such as whether an immigrant can petition family members, how old must a person be to petition his parents, is a family petition the only way to get a green card, etc.? This is truly going to be an interesting and informative segment of the show.
