Mother gets instant citizenship for her children,
While 2 ladies in their 60s are not recognized
As citizens by either the US or the Philippines

"INSTANT" US CITIZENS: Leading immigration attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel (center) with Winnie Mariano (right) and her children (L-R) Justin, Regi & Richie. Mariano recounts how she got "instant" citizenship for her children, without even petitioning them for green cards, on CITIZEN PINOY this Sunday/May 14 at 4:30 pm (PST) on ABS-CBN International's The Filipino Channel (TFC).
CITY, California --- ABS-CBN International and The Filipino Channel (TFC) are proud to present another episode of CITIZEN PINOY from the ABS-CBN studios in Quezon City, Philippines. This time, Your Passport to Immigration Information continues to feature immigration issues and concerns from your "kapamilya" back home in the Philippines.
The studio audience discussion has Atty. Gurfinkel and Gel Santos-Relos sit down with long-time and well-respected talent coordinator Winnie Mariano to discuss her successful "instant Citizenship" for her children, after the Embassy turned her down. Through this avenue, the kids went straight to US citizenship, without Winnie having to petition them.
On "CP House Calls," Mike Guingona meets Virginia Rose Clemmer Boak and Dorothy Mae Clemmer Boak - two ladies in their 60's, who were born to a US citizen parent and grandparent. However, they have never been recognized as US citizens due to the problem of lost documents during World War II.
And on "Michael Matters," leading immigration attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel illustrates and clarifies why it is a good idea to have an attorney when filing for immigration benefits.
