Willie Guests on Citizen Pinoy

(L-R) CITIZEN PINOY co-host Gel Santos-Relos,  Kimberlyn, Willie Revillame and attorney-to-the-stars Michael J. Gurfinkel on the set of CITIZEN PINOY in MANILA.  The heartwarming story of  Kimberlyn and her separation from her father was featured on the recent WOWOWEE sa AMERIKA.  This time, listen to  Kimberlyn's longing for her father on part 2 of CITIZEN PINOY in MANILA this Sunday/Nov. 13 at 5:00 pm (PST) on ABS-CBN International's The Filipino Channel (TFC).

Willie Revillame and the entire Wowowee cast have just returned from New York, where their show was a huge hit among TFC subscribers.   Families and friends braved the rain and cold weather in Flushing Meadows, New York to see Willie in person and participate in the highly acclaimed "Pera O Bayong" and other Wowowee games.

On this week's episode of Citizen Pinoy, Willie relays his experiences at the Embassy in obtaining his visa, his fears, doubts, and prayers leading up to his interview -- similar to those nearly all Filipinos go through, whether famous or not.

Also featured in this edition of CITIZEN PINOY in MANILA is Kimberlyn, whose tale was first featured on Wowowee in New York.   Her story is truly heartwarming. It's about the pain caused by the separation of a child from her father.   Kimberlyn and her father, Daniel, have not seen each other for 12 years now.   Daniel has been in the United States working as a messenger.   At the recent Wowowee in New York, Daniel was there on stage as a contestant, and he reminisced about the daughter he left behind in the Philippines.   The audience was so touched, that almost everyone was moved to tears.   It was indeed a family tale that needed follow-through.   And so, when CITIZEN PINOY came to Manila, they looked for Kimberlyn, and brought her from her province to the ABS-CBN studios, to also share her thoughts and longing for the father she misses so much.   This is a story that will definitely touch your hearts and bring tears to your eyes.

CITIZEN PINOY's main man-on-the-streets, Atty. Mike Guingona continued to seek the issues and questions of kapamilyas who came all the way from various parts of the Philippines (Ilocos Sur, Bicol, Batangas, Mindoro, Pampanga, among many others).   Relevant information addressing those immigration concerns were provided in-studio by leading immigration attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel, and they would be of vital interest to all viewers, who may have the same questions and thirst for reliable immigration facts and information. So be sure to tune in for an interesting discussion on a whole gamut of immigration topics when ABS-CBN International and the Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel bring you part 2 of CITIZEN PINOY in MANILA --- this Sunday/November 13 at 5:00 pm (PST) on The Filipino Channel (TFC).

CITIZEN PINOY airs on TFC every Sunday at 5 p.m. , with replays every Monday at 4 a.m. , and on ANC-USA every Friday at 8 p.m. (all Pacific Standard Time) .    In the Philippines, the show airs every Saturday at 11 a.m. on ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel).
