CITIZEN PINOY airs "Part 2" of their NYC show,
with highlights of the 1st Season
in this Sunday's special episode!

Citizen Pinoy hosts Atty. Mike Guingona, Odette Alcazaren-Keeley and leading immigration attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel in front of the CITIZEN PINOY booth set up along Madison and 26 th St. in New York City during the Philippine Independence Day Parade in Manhattan last June. The hosts went to the East Coast to personally meet our "kapamilya" and answer questions concerning their immigration problems. Atty. Gurfinkel and the TFC family were happy to have been of service to our East Coast kababayans, who are avid viewers of Citizen Pinoy.
Our kapamilyas from New York had so many immigration questions and concerns which we tried to accommodate, providing the necessary information they needed. You will get to hear more immigration questions and answers when CITIZEN PINOY airs Part 2 of its special New York episode this Sunday, July 31. This special episode was shot during the Philippine Independence Day Parade and festivities in June, along Madison Avenue in Manhattan, New York City.
It is indeed very heartwarming that our kababayans look forward to watching the show, with some even avoiding activities outside their homes so as not to miss the showing of Citizen Pinoy. Others even call relatives in Asia, Middle East and Europe where Citizen Pinoy is also aired, to remind them to turn on their TVs. As a special season-ending treat, CITIZEN PINOY will show highlights from the show's previous season's episodes.
Due to overwhelming public demand, including thousands of e-mails and phone calls to ABS-CBN Manila and San Francisco headquarters, CITIZEN PINOY will return for its second season in September. In the meantime, previous episodes will continue to air during the program break in August. Viewers will still have a chance to watch the show or catch up on episodes they missed in the first season, and be informed about important information that they can learn from and find useful for their specific immigration concerns.
CITIZEN PINOY--- your Passport to Immigration Information --- promises even better programming and presentation, as we move into our second season. So be sure to join hosts Atty. Mike Guingona, Odette Alcazaren-Keeley and leading immigration attorney Michael J. Gurfinkel when they bring you our special episode for you this Sunday, July 31 at 5:00 pm (PST) for CITIZEN PINOY's season-ender.
Indeed, ABS-CBN forges ahead with its mission to be in the service of the Filipino wherever he may be. And it is a vision that is shared by the popular and leading immigration attorney, Michael J. Gurfinkel. His commitment to service has been proven in his answering questions and the support given to "kapamilyas" in the Filipino-American community. He has helped thousands of Filipinos and Filipino entertainers obtain various immigration benefits in the U.S. That is why he is also known as "Attorney to the Stars." Atty. Gurfinkel believes likewise in giving back to the community. So that is enough assurance that the show that has constantly provided viewers with public service will be back to continue its mission to its viewers nationwide.
CITIZEN PINOY airs on TFC every Sunday at 5 p.m. , with replays every Monday at 4 a.m. , and on ANC-USA every Friday at 8 p.m. (all Pacific Standard Time) . In the Philippines, the show airs every Saturday at 11 a.m. on ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel).
