Leading immigration attorney MICHAEL J. GURFINKEL joins ABS-CBN --- the Kapamilya network, via the newest public affairs talk show produced by ABS-CBN International, North America --- "CITIZEN PINOY."
CITIZEN PINOY is a one-hour talk show that will provide Filipino audiences information on the various possibilities, issues and problems regarding US immigration. The new show will be aired globally, starting May 8 (Sunday) 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time) after Rated K, through ABS-CBN International's The Filipino Channel (TFC) with co-hosts Atty. Mike Guingona, youthful vice mayor of Daly City in Northern California, and TV personality Odette Keeley, producer and head writer of TFC's "Balitang America."
Atty. Gurfinkel, popularly known among Filipinos in the U.S. and in the Philippines as the "Attorney to the Stars" and "Attorney of Last Hope," will discuss a particular immigration topic each week. He continues his tradition of public service to the Filipino community by sharing his vast experience in U.S. immigration law. Concerns like getting a green card thru family-based and employment-based petitions, alien smuggling, removal/deportation, fraud and misrepresentation, U.S. entry, adoption, and other topics will be highlighted.
Atty. Gurfinkel has been an attorney for more than 24 years and has helped thousands of Filipinos and Filipino entertainers obtain various immigration benefits in the U.S. He is known for his successful handling of extremely difficult and urgent cases, many of which have been deemed as "hopeless" or "impossible" by other attorneys.
Atty. Gurfinkel states that "there is prevalent misinformation and misconceptions regarding U.S. immigration laws that we want to address through this very worthwhile project of ABS-CBN International's TFC.
