Atty. Louie A. Ramirez is licensed, and authorized to practice law in California and the Philippines.
Mr. Ramirez has a Bachelor of Arts degree major in Legal Management and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila Philippines. He previously worked as a Court Attorney with (now retired) Associate Justice Angelina Sandoval Gutierrez of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. He also taught Obligations and Contracts Laws, Negotiable Instruments Laws and Labors Laws at St. Paul College in Manila.
Mr. Ramirez joined the Law Offices of Michael J. Gurfinkel, Inc. in 2007. He has handled complex cases involving both family and employment based petitions and applications. He now concentrates on family based adjustment of status, humanitarian revalidation, fraud and hardship waivers, age-outs (CSPA), naturalization, consular\Embassy processing of visas, removal/deportation cases, asylum and appeals and petitions before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Atty. Ramirez is fluent in Tagalog.
